Where It All Began
The journey began in Taraori, Karnal, Haryana, when the parent company was established by Mr. Panna Lal Gupta, the patriarch of the Bharat Group.
What started as a vision rooted in India’s rich agricultural heritage would go on to become a legacy spanning generations.

EXPORT FIRST TIME
Taking Indian Rice to the World
We became the first company in Karnal district to venture into the rice export market.
This marked the beginning of our international journey and opened new possibilities for bringing Indian rice to
customers across the globe.

We became one of the first companies in the rice manufacturing industry to achieve an annual export turnover of Rs.100 Crores.

Diversifying Beyond Rice
Our spirit of innovation took us beyond rice. We entered the glucose syrup and glucose powder manufacturing business with the establishment of a first-of-its-kind facility under Bharat Glucose Pvt. Ltd.
A new venture that expanded the group’s manufacturing expertise into a new category.

We continued to push the boundaries of the rice manufacturing industry by becoming one of the first companies to cross an annual turnover of ₹500 Crores.

Technology Upgradation
A New Era of Scale & Technology
The group’s largest and most advanced rice milling facility was established under the name Bharat Agro Impex Pvt. Ltd.
Located in Taraori, Haryana, the facility marked a new era for the Group, combining scale, technology and advanced processing capabilities.
With a daily production and packing capacity of 300 MT, the facility surpassed the scale and technological capabilities of the Group’s earlier plants.
